Love

Tonight I had drinks with the love of my life … my best and oldest friend Judith, who always makes me laugh, always makes me see myself in a good light, always lifts my spirits.

I drove home singing to the Scissor Sisters on the radio, happy for the first time in weeks.

When I opened the door, I was greeted by my new dog Riley, who flung himself at me i a bundle of sheer joy, all wagging tail and licks.
