The thing about things that seem unacceptable is this: If you ignore that they are unacceptable, and just accept them anyway, things get a tiny bit easier.
And if that doesn’t work, there’s always wine.
The colours on this are all wrong, but I like them anyway. And the hand, which I drew without looking at the page, is the most interesting part of the drawing. There’s something about the character of lines made when blind drawing that is more honest. Not more accurate in the literal sense, but closer to reality anyway.
Maybe that’s true of life too. That we are most true to ourselves when we let go and just STOP trying to control every damn thing.
