So much of my unhappiness comes from the stories I tell myself. Stories that constantly turn out to be untrue. And yet the next time the same situation arises, here comes the story again.

I am trying hard to change this, but some things are deeply ingrained.

Think of it as a work in progress! You probably repeat the same stories less often as you once did now that you are more mindful of them not being true! It just will become less and less as time goes by! Congratulate yourself for doing it less and repeat that whenever you realize you haven’t done it again, but don’t beat yourself up when you do! It works for me! At almost 75 I’ve just about run them all into the ground!

The art continues to be stellar !
